Because one path
was never the only path.
A guidance platform and professional community for aspiring solicitors in England & Wales. We start where the rulebook gets quiet — qualifying through Equivalent Means — and walk the route with you.

What is Equivalent Means?
Equivalent Means is the route, recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), that allows experienced legal professionals to qualify as solicitors of England & Wales by demonstrating that prior qualifications and work experience are equivalent to the traditional training contract and academic stages.
It's powerful — and underexplained. Eligibility, evidence, competence mapping and timing decisions are often opaque. Legal Pathways Collective exists to make the route legible: clear guidance, working templates, and the lived experience of those who have already qualified this way.
